mafraq station

the station was built in the early nineteenth century on an area of ( 66.855 ) donums and consists of residential buildings  and offices for the employees , In addition to a tank of water to supply the steam locomotives .

recently, In collaboration with the municipality of mafraq , JHR start the reconstruction of the station buildings , as well as the Execution of some investments in side the station campus such as setting up commercial buildings and mosque  In addition to entertainment services and the establishment of parks and tourist rest houses

al- mafraq station is considered as Customs Office  for arrivals and departures through the Hijaz Railway between Jordan and Syria.
